- Start your journey by driving 300 kilometers south of Addis to visit Adadi Mariam, an active church hand-cut from a single rock in the XIII century by King Lalibela.
- Next, explore the Steles of Tiya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where impressive carved rocks honor local warriors. Learn about the Gurage tribe's unique food preparation techniques using the "Enset" plant.
- In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic walk along the shores of Lake Awassa and witness a beautiful sunset. Stay overnight at Lewi Resort.
Day 2:
- Start your day with a delicious breakfast of freshly caught fish at the Lake Awassa fish market.
- Then, immerse yourself in the process of making Enjera, Ethiopia's national bread, with a local family in Awassa.
- On your return journey to Addis Ababa, stop for lunch at Lake Langano and participate in a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony at one of the five Crater Lakes of Bishoftu (Debre Ziet). Experience the rich coffee culture and enjoy the birthplace of coffee, Ethiopia.
- Finally, return to Addis Ababa via the express road.
