Day 1:
- Upon your arrival in Addis Ababa, we will meet you an start our tour.
- Depending on the time, take the opportunity to explore the vibrant city of Addis Ababa with our friendly team. Discover the rich cultural heritage as you visit the renowned National Museum of Ethiopia.
- Immerse yourself in the spiritual ambiance of the Holy Trinity Cathedral, an architectural masterpiece.
- Lastly, venture to the scenic Entoto Hills and indulge in panoramic views of the city's enchanting landscapes. Let Addis Ababa's sights leave an indelible mark on your journey.
- You will overnight at a hotel in Addis Ababa.
Day 2:
- We will fly north to Lalibela in the morning and transfer to your hotel. After lunch, explore the Rock-Hewn Churches, carved during the reign of King Lalibela (1181-1221). These magnificent rock churches are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 3:
- Enjoy breakfast before embarking on a scenic drive to Danakil Region. Along the way, you'll see many beautiful views and learn a lot about this extraordinary region.
- Overnight at a hotel of Omo Valley.
Day 4:
- On this day, Erta Ale Volcano is our first destination. Witness the world's only permanent lava lake, one of just 5 such lakes globally.
- Arriving at Dodom Camp, located approximately 17 km from Erta Ale Volcano, dinner will be served for us.
- After a short break, we'll trek to Erta Ale. Camels will transport camping materials and essential supplies to the volcano's rim, where we'll spend the night marveling at the mesmerizing lava activity.
Day 5:
- Witness the sunrise over the northern pit crater, followed by a short walk to the southern and central pits.
- Descend from Erta Ale around 9 am and return to Dodom Camp for a relaxing break.
- Continue to Lake Asale and enjoy the captivating surroundings.
- In the evening, we will return to Addis Ababa.
- Included: transfer during the tour (4WD land for 4 clients), all needed entrance fees and licenses, accommodation and 3 meals during the tour, tour guide, experienced cook.
- Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions regarding the accommodation (we will discuss the type of accommodation and other issues).
- It is important to understand that due to the extreme heat and the lack of usual accommodation conditions, people with health problems are strongly advised not to go to Danakil.
